History
Founded in 1994 by Susan Wang, the Queensland World Dance Academy specializes in classical ballet and oriental dance, forming the cornerstone of the academy's distinctive character.
The academyโs first major production, Cloud and ShadowIn 1998, a remarkable show debuted at the Brisbane Suncorp Theatre. Kevin Rudd, an honored attendee, lauded it as a flawless fusion of Western and Eastern traditions, contributing significantly to Australia's cultural diversity. This event heralded the ascent of QWDA as a leading advocate for multiculturalism in various Australian gatherings.

In 2007, QWDA achieved a significant milestone by being the pioneer training organization in Australia to introduce Certificate IV and Diploma programs in Western and Eastern dance. This remarkable accomplishment firmly established QWDA as a frontrunner in dance education. Presently, QWDA is renowned for its outstanding professionalism in various dance genres and is committed to fostering exceptional talents in dancers.
